A little birdy told me that tumblr has been bought by Yahoo!Early this morning Yahoo announced it would be acquiring Tumblr for $1.1 billion in cash. They promised "Not to screw up."
In response, the Tumblr community freaked out, they posted many thing like,"Don't destroy fandoms," and “So Yahoo bought Tumblr, which means it’s time to pack my bags and move on."
Many think that what happened to Flickr, will happen to Tumblr. Sign up fees, ads etc.. Though Yahoo has said they won't do such a thing... we still have to see what happens.
